Race of The Decade Award

We are delighted and proud to see the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon receiving Runners World's ‘New Race of the Decade’ award.
Over the last 10 years, the race has been a true celebration of the Active World and will be again next October.
Limelight Sports CEO, Craig Dews, said: “I'm so delighted that the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon has been recognised by Runners World readers as New Race of the Decade.
“Being part of the event since the concept stage has been one of the highlights of my career as it's success is directly attributable to true collaboration between the partners and a commitment to create a fantastic participant experience.”
With a route passing through four of the Royal Parks and encompassing iconic London sites, the experience has become one of the UK’s most popular half marathons and continues to see a fully subscribed ballot each year. In 2017 the race will celebrate #10YearsRunning.
