Royal Bank of Canada V Series nominated at The Drum Content Awards

Everyone here at Limelight Sports is delighted about The Royal Bank of Canada V Series Performance Pathway's nomination for Best Content Marketing Tech Platform at this year's The Drum Content Awards!

The Drum Content Awards are brand new for 2015. They are seeking the top talent in the content marketing to reward them with such titles as: the Grand Prix award, chosen from all of the winner entries, the Chair's Award which goes to the chair of the judge's personal favourite and the Content Marketing Agency of the Year.

The Drum Content Awards are also advocates of effective and great content campaigns within the industry. Who has been most successful in communicating messages via content marketing strategies?

The Performance Pathway, which is a fully digital platform hosted on the event’s official website, was designed with the support of renowned cycling experts such as event’s Performance Advisor Shane Sutton OBE, Technical Director at British Cycling and winner of the ‘High Performance Coach of the Year Award’, and Race Director Gary Willis, Former British Cycling Coach, Scottish Cycling Performance Manager and responsible for the technical delivery of London 2012 Olympic Road Cycling Race and Time Trial. 

The Performance Pathway’s main target was to take the teams through a three months journey to race day. After each team appointed a team captain, the captain would then be in charge of the team selection. The content, hosted in a weekly and chronological grid system, was based around coaching and support videos from Shane Sutton and Gary Willis, bespoke articles from event partners, including the event’s Print Media and Content Provider Cyclist Magazine, Official Sports Medicine Partner Pure Sport Medicine and Official Sports Nutrition Supplier Science In Sport.
