Staffing Coordinator (UK)
I started working permanently for Limelight Sports in May 2015. Prior to this I had been involved in many of the company’s projects in an array of event day roles. Since May, I have worked on Royal Bank of Canada V Series and Race for the Kids, numerous Nike projects included the Women’s 10KM Run and JP Morgan Corporate Challenge. I am now looking forward to my next working challenges, including Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon!
Since joining the Limelight Sports Team, I have started running and am really enjoying Lunch Time Run Clubs! I love yoga (the hotter the better!) and have had a passion for skiing from a young age.
Events Director (UK)
I joined Limelight in 1999, initially working on mass participation multisport events for young people; I’m now the Events Director with responsibility for a team of 20+ people creating and delivering premium participation sporting experiences
I’m a keen runner and cyclist who loves parkrun and who regularly enters into participation events. I volunteer with Ealing, Southall and Middlesex AC young athletes and passionately believe in the benefits of an active world
Account Manager (Australia)
I have been involved with Limelight Sports in both Australia and the UK for event day roles over the past 7 years and started working full time with the company in 2016 as the Account Manager for the Nike accounts including Nike+ Run Club, Nike Football and Nike Training.
I enjoy all things sports whether it be playing touch football and basketball or watching and supporting my favourite sports teams such as the St George Illawarra Dragons, Sydney Swans, Golden State Warriors, sports is my passion.
Joined Limelight in 1998 as Project Manager for Swimathon. Appointed CEO in November 2001 and have looked to develop the team, our client relationships and our company credentials since then. Very privileged to lead such a talented and enthusiastic team of people.
Football and Rugby League. Now running and cycling. Duathlon debut September 2014!
Account Director (UK)
I joined Limelight Sports in 2008, coming from a background in corporate sponsorship and hospitality, and have worked across some of Limelight’s biggest projects. I’m responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of internal and external marketing projects, and managing the Marketing team.
I was UK cheerleading champions three times over (in my youth!), but have more recently hung up the pom poms in favour of aerobics – a slightly less noisy means of keeping fit
Head of Corporate Services (UK)
I first started working for Limelight in 1998 as PR Manager, progressing into Account Management. Having briefly left I realised the grass is actually not greener on the other side and returned to the company in 2007 to take on the role of Head of Project Management. In 2011 I became Head of Corporate Services and have since completed a Post Graduate Diploma in HR and am now an Assoc member of the CIPD. My challenge for 2015/2016 is to complete my final year at the University of Wales (part time) to get my Masters in HR.
I enjoy running and have completed a number of 10ks. If I get the chance I also like to ski, having only learnt 10 years ago I’m making up for lost time!
Assistant Production & Logistics Manager (UK)
I joined in May 2012 on the TfL Olympics team within production for all the road race events. I have since been involved in a number of projects including RPFHM, Palace to Palace, Energizer Night Run, J.P.Morgan CC, London Duathlon, Swim Britain, Sport Relief and LYG.
I enjoy keeping fit especially being outdoors. Walking in the hills and mountains, cycling or more recently scooting around the streets of London for my commute.
Head of Technology
I have been with Limelight Sports for over 10 years and experienced first hand countless campaigns in this time. This experience of the live event and event campaigns coupled with my technical knowledge allows me and my team to specialise in “applied technology”; technology that is designed for participation sport enhancing the experience of the participant and their spectators.
Keen cyclist and triathlete. Soft spot for Birmingham city.
Managing Director (Australia)
I was lucky to be part of the UK company team for 5 years during a massive growth phase, and then set up the Australia/NZ company in 2009. Have been the MD since then!
Run, bike (road/MTB/fixie), swim (badly). Golf (even worse…), and anything else where you can hit/pass/shoot!!
Senior Project Manager (UK)
My ‘big move’ to London saw me join Limelight Sports in 2009 as Project Manager. I left in 2012 to explore the world of elite sport, but missing the buzz of our amazing events and the Limelight family, I returned in 2013 and now sit in the role of Senior Project Manager.
I love to spend time in the mountains skiing during the winter months. I am a super keen recreational runner and have completed two marathons in London and Rome. I often spend my evenings in the gym or relaxing with a spot of Pilates.
Project Coordinator (UK)
I started working for Limelight Sports back in 2011 as event day staff with my first event being an all-inclusive Nike football tournament. Having really enjoyed working on live events, I was keen to understand how mass and more exclusive events are planned and organised. After graduating in 2014, my employment started as a full time project coordinator and I have never looked back.
I have always loved the game of football whether it is playing, watching or crying. I like keeping fit and going to the gym on a regular basis. Since working at Limelight I have grown fond of cycling and I am planning to go check out my local velodrome in Herne Hill to improve my competitive cycling ability.
I.T Coordinator (UK)
I’ve been employed by Limelight since 2010 as an I.T. assistant. Now as I.T. Coordinator, I solely maintain the electrical and computerized equipment within the office.
After a number of injuries I am currently reviving my fitness motivation using the Insanity workout that mainly involves plyometric interval training and cardio strengthening exercises. I also enjoy basketball and was a striker within the company football team.
Marketing Director (UK)
Using mass participation to get brands and communities to meet around sport was a fascinating proposition when I joined in August 2013. Since then I have learned to understand the incredible power of mass participation and fallen for the passion and creativity of the Limelight Sports team
Pinning down to one sport or one sport event is impossible! Sport has always been at the heart of my life – Noah, Pirmin Zurbriggen, Clyde Drexler, Federer, Zidane… The sports I practice the most regularly are tennis, skiing, cycling and hiking.
Senior Marketing and Communications Manager (UK)
I joined Limelight Sports in September 2014. I manage the marketing side of things for our clients’ events, as well as our own properties, including the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, Royal Bank of Canada V Series and London Duathlon. I absolutely love the passion and dedication our team here at Limelight shares for the sport industry.
I began refereeing basketball over 10 years ago and still enjoy it. My love for the game also inspired me to start a small Limelight Sports basketball team. Having been born into a family of professional athletes, I have always felt a strong connection to sport and as much as I enjoy running and cycling, you can name pretty much any sport or activity and I am up for trying it!
Project Manager (UK)
My Limelight Sports career kicked off in March 2015 with RBC Race for the Kids being my first project in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. I’m now looking forward to getting involved with many more events on the way!
I normally like to run, swim or head to a group fitness class but this year I jumped on my very first road bike and completed Ride London (just about!). I’d also love to have a go at the London Marathon or a triathlon at some point.
Account Coordinator (Australia)
Work across multiple accounts and events in varying roles, including Nike Football, Bloomberg, CyclingTips and Societe Generale.
I grew up playing AFL and despite not playing for a while, still love it to bits. Unfortunately I’m a mad Richmond supporter. I also have an unhealthy obsession with the NBA, in particular with LeBron James.
