BBC Radio 1’s Gregathlon: Pedal to the Peaks for Sport Relief

Here at Limelight Sports, we are extremely excited to announce that we are working alongside Comic Relief and the BBC to deliver Greg James’ 2018 challenge ‘BBC Radio 1’s Gregathlon: Pedal to the Peaks for Sport Relief’.
Greg James is no stranger to Sport Relief challenges, but in 2018 he’s looking to push himself further by taking on an even tougher challenge to help raise vital funds for Sport Relief. This year he’s attempting to climb three of the highest peaks in the UK and cycle the 500 miles between them in just 5 days, and team Limelight are on board to help him accomplish this incredible feat.
Over the last few months we’ve been working with Comic Relief and the BBC to organise and execute this challenge. This has included, but is not limited to, route planning, transportation, accommodation, and support team logistics, whilst also ensuring that broadcast capabilities are facilitated throughout. Not only that, but with the challenge taking place in February, the Limelight team have had the added consideration of freezing and snowy weather conditions, something that Greg will have to contend with too, making the challenge even more extreme!
BBC Radio 1’s Gregathlon: Pedal to the Peaks for Sport Relief kick-starts on Monday 26th February. Greg will begin with a climb of Snowdon before cycling to and climbing Scafell Pike, and then cycling to and finishing with summiting Ben Nevis. The Limelight team will be there for the duration of the trip to support Greg as he takes on his amazing challenge.
Greg James is completing this challenge to raise money for Sport Relief 2018. If you want to donate to Sport Relief, you can do so here
