City of Melbourne extends Active Melbourne City Sports programme

We’re delighted to confirm our involvement in the Active Melbourne City Sports (AMCS) program for another 2 years.

The program, which aims to encourage active participation opportunities for City of Melbourne workers, has seen close to 10,000 participants take part in 5,800 games of social sport in the past 3 years.

Managing Director, Andrew O’Loughlin, said the AMCS program continued to grow from strength to strength through Limelight’s focus on building strong partnerships and its insight-led approach to the Active World.

“It’s an exciting time to be working in partnership with the City of Melbourne and to be delivering such a strong program that directly contributes to their 2021 Active Melbourne Strategy.

“Active participation not only contributes to an individual’s physical and mental wellbeing, but has far great social, and community benefits, so we’re pleased to play an integral role in working with the City of Melbourne to realise their vision of a more active Melbourne,” he said. “Being able to leverage the popular trend toward socially driven shared experiences, and more active lifestyles has been a real asset for us, and which many partner brands are joining in on”.

It’s just part of the way that we’re creating an Active World. Together.
