N+TC Tour Sydney

The N+TC Tour Sydney was the ultimate sell out event providing an inspiring training journey for 2,500 women. The Sydney engagement is part of Nike’s premium global tour, which takes place in 13 major cities around the globe.

Anticipation for the event was built with an eight week N+TC Training Journey which was launched with N+TC offerings across University of NSW, Sydney University and Bondi Beach locations.

In the weeks prior to the event, the engagement delivered personalised training packs to the 2,500 women. The packs included the N+TC training singlet, N+TC wristbands, Women’s Health Magazine and the event program. The N+TC training singlet doubled as a free pass for public transport to the event on May 2.

Nike’s Sydney tour saw Master Trainers, Marie Purvis and Kirsty Godso, lead ‘Get Lean’, ‘Get Toned’ and ‘Get Strong’ workout sessions during the nine-hour training journey that culminated with live tunes from DJ Havana Brown. 

The engagement built on the training component of the experience with designed touch points; from the inspirational tunnel participants arrived through to the Nike retail space that showcased the latest seasons offerings and Nike specialist staff to assist with product knowledge. The product activation saw 750 women trial shoes during the event.

Further elements built on the premium standard offering with Toni & Guy hair braiding at the Braid Bar, Health Place massage therapists, Beauty EDU make up and nail services at the Beauty Bar, as well as Nike branded flash tattoos.

The event incorporated a digital integration with an Instagram Printer printing images from the #NTCTOURSYD hashtag both for a personal keepsake and the Glory Wall. Additionally, a Shazam silent track allowed for participants to access to a digital event program.

The engagement has connected women passionate about health to a standard of fitness offerings that Nike has become known for on a global scale. It is through the power of these experiences that brand ambassadors are created and continue the reach of experience beyond those who attended.
